How do I apply to be a vendor?

Our vendor applications open a month prior to each event and will be available online. Keep up to date on our Instagram @thesocomarket ! Due to the amount of applications we receive, our applications are only open for a duration of 5-7 days.

Do I need a permit to participate in the SoCo Market?

All vendors are responsible for obtaining the required permits and licenses in order to sell in the state of California. Feel free to check out our resource page for additional information!

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, we love them and encourage you to bring them! The only time we ask you to keep your furry friends home is when we host our indoor market (in December).

Is the event free to attend?

Our normal April-August events are free to attend! We may have 1-2 major events throughout the year where we charge an admission fee. That information will always be stated per event.

I applied, but I haven’t received a response.

Please allow 3-5 days to receive an acceptance/denial response via email. If you still have not received a response, it may be because the email was entered incorrectly on the application.

I applied, but my application was denied. Why is that?

Between the amount of applications we receive per event and the limited venue space, it has been a challenge to give everyone an opportunity. We accept applications from new businesses as well returning businesses. There is a limit on how many spots we have for each business category (jewelry, clothing, plants…etc) to avoid saturation. If you applied 3+ times, please send us an email!

How do you select vendors for the event?

When the market was first established, we focused on millennial owned businesses. Although, we have branched out from that bracket, preference will be given to millennial owned businesses. A few things we keep in mind when reviewing applications:

• Passion over hobby. We look for individuals who are starting businesses out of passion with hopes of turning it in to something more.

• If you participated in a recent SoCo Market

• If it is your first time applying to a SoCo Market
